About the Book

The Biblical Theology of Missions, is an introductory study of the mission of God as it is found throughout the Bible— the Missio Dei. It explores the biblical theology of the mission of God and also shows the implications of this theology for people called by God to pastor, evangelize, disciple, teach, and cross cultural barriers with the gospel.

About the Author

The author, Paul York, currently serves as the Chairman of the Missions and Evangelism Division at Central Bible College, Springfield, Missouri, U.S.A. Reverend York was raised in Nigeria with his missionary family. His higher educational formation began at Northwest College of the Assemblies of God, Kirkland, Washington where he earned a B.A. degree (1990). In 1994, he earned an M.A. degree in Missiology from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Springfield, Missouri, U.S.A.

Reverend York and his wife Lisa served as Assemblies of God missionaries in Ethiopia, as nationally appointed Chi Alpha Campus Missionaries in Texas, U.S.A., and also as missionary in residence at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, Waxahachie, Texas.
