Bible School Leadership Manual
A resource published by Africa’s Hope entitled, The Bible School Leadership Manual is now available. This leadership manual is designed to offer a practical and relevant tool to motivate and equip personal and institutional reflection and to encourage our ecclesiastical training efforts toward higher levels of educational and ministerial standards. For national church executives, national education directors, chancellors of institutions and Bible School administrators, a digital copy of this textbook can be requested by writing to: Jared Lee firstname.lastname@example.org.
DS Instructor’s Packet
The Africa’s Hope Discovery Series now has instructor packets and student workbooks available electronically and in print for ten different textbooks. These curriculum enhancements will increase student learning through active engagement in the learning process while reducing the time it takes Bible school teachers to plan courses, compose assignments, and develop tests.
Each instructor packet contains a sample course syllabus, chapter objectives, unit exams, two final exams, a customizable digital test bank, answer keys, and student projects. Each student workbook contains homework questions for review and application of each chapter, personal context questions, and writing projects.
Africa’s Hope has already started translating these materials into French, Portuguese, and Swahili. Our strategic plan is to translate these curriculum enhancements into all the languages of the Discovery Series to provide resources to the many Bible schools on the continent.
The Africa’s Hope Discovery Series textbooks with available instructor packets and student workbooks are as follows: The Pentateuch, The Life of Christ in the Synoptic Gospels, Acts, Bible Doctrines, Hermeneutics, Abundant Life in the Son, Principles of Teaching, Principles of Counseling, Transformational Development and the Church, and Muslim Ministry in the African Context.
