Ambitious missionary goals in Chad

In 2014, under the leading of the Holy Spirit, the Assemblies of God of Chad set some very ambitious missionary goals. From 2014 to 2020 they have resolved to plant 600 new AG churches throughout the country, while at the same time sending missionaries among the unreached peoples of Chad and elsewhere.

One of the main strategies for accomplishing these goals is leadership training—to prepare and equip evangelists, church planters, pastors, and missionaries for the harvest to come. At the forefront of their training efforts is the Assemblies of God Bible Institute in Moundou. In spite of many challenges, this training center is doing well. Last June they graduated another 22 students.

“We are putting an emphasis on the baptism in the Holy Spirit in local churches, among students at the Bible institute, in seminars, conferences and conventions, in meetings of young people, women, men, etc. This burden led us to consider three Bible schools in the vernacular languages. Of the three, we have already managed to start one in the Lakka language. We are in search of the means to launch the other two. Pray for us.”
