In October a two-day faculty enrichment seminar was organized in Mbalmayo, Cameroon in partnership with Africa’s Hope and ATTS. The theme of the seminar was: The Role of Training in the Growth and Stability of the Future Church.
Forty-seven delegates participated from Cameroon, Gabon, Congo-Brazzaville, and Chad. Key representatives from Bible schools in Cameroon attended the seminar, including those from the WAAST extension campus in Mbalmayo, FGBI Bamenda and its partner Bible school NAOBI, Institut du Sahel in Ngaoundéré, and AG Theological College in Kotto, Douala. Among the facilitators were Dr. Carl Gibbs, Dr. Felix Niba, Rev. Richard Caswell, Rev. Titus Degoué, and Rev. Derek van der Merwe. The Africa’s Hope / ATTS team was encouraged by the level of engagement by administrators and faculty.
Special thanks go to Dr. Marcel Bomboko and Dr. Felix Niba for their advocacy for the ministry of ATTS. Dr. Bomboko is the Central Africa Regional Coordinator for ATTS, and Dr. Felix Niba organized the successful event.
