A graduation ceremony was recently held at Addis Ababa Bible College (ABC) in Ethiopia, where a total of 192 students graduated. Seven earned a master’s degree, 42 earned a bachelor’s degree, and 143 received their diplomas.
Of those who received their diplomas, 33 finished their studies in the Oromo language (also known as Afaan Oromoo and Oromiffa), an official language in Ethiopia that is spoken by about 30 million people.
In addition to having 300 BA students at the main campus, ABC has 14 diploma-level extension sites where another 350 students are currently enrolled. It is expected that these numbers will continue to increase in the months ahead.
