Foundations of Leadership: A Christian Approach focuses on the character and skills needed to effectively lead a church or ministry. Students are challenged to build their spiritual lives and develop spiritual disciplines that will become lifelong habits. Emphasis is placed on servant leadership as a biblical model for leaders to follow. Within the ministry context, students will discover basic leadership theories and ways to address conflict and inspire others to excellence. Students will learn the importance of mission and vision to the organization, and how these can become the basis for making decisions about a church’s direction and plans in a community.
