A correct understanding of the kingdom of God can profoundly affect both our lives and our ministries. When we understand that the kingdom of God is a present reality in the world today and that kingdom power can be at work actively in our ministries, a tremendous confidence comes into our hearts. We are encouraged to preach with power and pray for people with renewed boldness. When we understand that the King is coming again to set up His eternal kingdom in the earth, we are inspired to work to see that the nations hear the message of His salvation. Pentecostals have a unique contribution to make to the study of the kingdom of God. Their emphasis on the presence and power of the Spirit is an essential element in the advancement of the Kingdom in the earth.
